With a master's degree in geological sciences from San Diego State University and more than 30 years at the frontier of data analysis and risk intelligence, Steven built his expertise in some of the most demanding environments in the world — predicting catastrophic slope failures at active mine sites, presenting research at international conferences, and earning national recognition from NIOSH for developing a revolutionary approach to real-time monitoring.
In 2025 he brought that expertise home, founding Borron Strategic in Chula Vista with a clear purpose: to give San Diego's small and medium-sized business owners access to the kind of strategic intelligence that has always been reserved for much larger organizations.
